Les Arcs is about 200 km from Geneva Airport by road.
The route goes via Albertville and Moûtiers to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, then takes the mountain road up to Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 or Arc 2000.
The Les Arcs villages lie between about 1,600 and 2,000 metres, and the Aiguille Rouge summit rises to around 3,225 metres.
Les Arcs is linked with La Plagne by the Vanoise Express to form Paradiski, with about 425 km of slopes.
The season usually runs from mid-December to late April.
Les Arcs is known for the Paradiski ski area shared with La Plagne, the long descent from the Aiguille Rouge, its four ski-in, ski-out villages, the funicular from Bourg-Saint-Maurice to Arc 1600, its varied terrain for all levels.
By train you reach Bourg-Saint-Maurice, then take the funicular to Arc 1600 or a bus to the other villages, with your luggage. A private transfer takes you door to door with no changes.
Nearby destinations include La Plagne, Tignes, Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise and La Rosière. We arrange transfers between them on request.
In winter we usually recommend leaving 4 to 5 hours before your flight departure. We confirm the exact time with you.
