Route and travel time

The private transfer from Geneva Airport to Nendaz covers about 175 km and takes around 2 h 05. Your chauffeur follows the A1 then the A9 motorway along Lake Geneva and up the Rhône valley to the Sion-Ouest exit. From there the Nendaz road climbs in twenty minutes through Baar and Beuson to Haute-Nendaz, at 1,365 m, on the balcony overlooking the Rhône valley.

The whole journey is in Switzerland and on motorway as far as the foot of the climb: one of the most reliable accesses among Valais resorts, even in bad weather.

Haute-Nendaz, Siviez and the hamlets

• Haute-Nendaz (1,365 m): the resort, with the Tracouet gondola, the shops and most of the residences and chalets.
• Siviez (1,730 m): the high hamlet at the head of the Printse valley, the link point towards Verbier and Mont-Fort, fifteen minutes' drive above the resort.
• Basse-Nendaz, Beuson, Saclentse and Les Clèves: the villages and hamlets of the commune, lower down or set apart, where many rental chalets are found.

Give the hamlet and chalet name when booking: Nendaz spreads over a wide slope and some chalet roads are narrow and steep.

What the fixed price includes

The price shown before payment is for the whole vehicle, with no supplement for passengers, luggage or traffic.

Which vehicle for Nendaz

For two or three, the Mercedes E-Class or S-Class. With a family or from four passengers, the V-Class (7 passengers, 10 bags), skis flat in the boot. For a shared chalet or a group of 8 to 19, the Sprinter is offered on quotation.

The Nendaz road in winter

From Sion to Haute-Nendaz the road gains 850 metres in 15 km of regular, well-cleared hairpins, then the chalet roads above the resort are narrower and often icy in the shade. Our Mercedes run on winter tyres with chains on board and our chauffeurs know the accesses of Haute-Nendaz, Les Clèves and Siviez.

The 4 Vallées from Nendaz

Nendaz is one of the gateways to the 4 Vallées, Switzerland's largest ski area with about 410 km of pistes linking Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon, La Tzoumaz and Verbier, up to Mont-Fort at 3,330 m. From Haute-Nendaz the Tracouet gondola rises to the resort's sunny family sector; from Siviez the lifts connect directly to Verbier and Mont-Fort. The season generally runs from early December to mid-April. In summer Nendaz is known for its bisses, the old Valais irrigation channels turned into level hiking trails, and for its alphorn festival.

Child seats, pushchairs and equipment

Enter your children's ages when booking: an infant carrier, child seat or booster is fitted in advance. The V-Class takes a folded pushchair and a sledge alongside the skis. If you are hiring equipment locally, tell us; a smaller vehicle may be enough.

Your transfer step by step

1. Online booking with flight number, hamlet and chalet name; fixed price shown before payment.
2. The day before, you receive the chauffeur's name and phone number.
3. On landing the time is adjusted; the chauffeur waits in arrivals.
4. Loading, immediate departure on the A1 and A9.
5. About 2 h 05 later, drop-off at your chalet in Nendaz.

No change at Sion

Nendaz has no railway station: from Sion, a 40-minute PostBus remains to Haute-Nendaz, skis in hand, then a walk or a second bus to the chalet. A private transfer leaves at your flight's actual arrival time, makes no stops and drops you at your door in 2 h 05, for a fixed price known in advance.

Return to Geneva and days in the Valais

Book the outbound and return together: the return gets 10% off. As a chauffeur at your disposal, your driver takes you to Verbier via Le Châble, to Sion for the old town and its castles, to the thermal baths at Saillon or Ovronnaz, or to the wine cellars of the central Valais.

Practical tips before you leave

Allow 15 minutes to load skis and keep boots in a separate bag. For a morning flight a 5 am departure is possible: the Rhône valley is clear and the journey often takes under two hours.
