Land in Geneva, collect your bags and be at your chalet door in Les Gets roughly an hour and ten minutes later. The village sits on a col in the Portes du Soleil, its slopes linked with Morzine, and it draws bikers and golfers once summer arrives. Our Geneva airport ski transfer has room for skis, bikes and suitcases alike, which makes even a short break worthwhile.

Route and travel time
The private transfer from Geneva Airport to Les Gets covers about 75 km and takes around 1 h 10. Your chauffeur takes the A40 motorway to the Cluses exit, then the D902 up the Giffre valley to Taninges before climbing to the Col des Gets: the village sits on the pass itself, at 1,170 m, between the Chavannes and Mont Chéry slopes.
Les Gets is the major resort closest to Geneva Airport: less than an hour and a quarter door to door, which also makes it a weekend and day-trip destination.
Les Gets, a village on the pass
The village stretches along the main street from the Chavannes gondola to the Mont Chéry gondola, with hotels and shops in the centre and chalets on both slopes:
- The centre and Les Chavannes: the Rue du Centre, the church, the Mechanical Music Museum and the main access to the slopes.
- Mont Chéry: the opposite side, quieter, with chalets higher up and a view of Mont Blanc.
- La Turche and Les Perrières: the chalet quarters above the Chavannes slopes, reached by narrow roads.
- Lac des Écoles and the Morzine road: the residences towards Morzine.
Give the chalet name and quarter when booking: in winter, the Turche and Perrières roads require knowing where you are going.
What the fixed price includes
The price shown before payment is for the whole vehicle, with no supplement for passengers, luggage or traffic.
- Meet and greet in arrivals with a name board, Swiss or French sector depending on your flight.
- Flight tracking and 60 minutes of free waiting time.
- Skis, snowboards, boot bags, suitcases and bikes loaded by the chauffeur.
- A direct journey to your door, with no other passengers.
- Tolls, fuel and VAT included; child seats on request at no extra charge.
Which vehicle for Les Gets
For two or three, the Mercedes E-Class or S-Class. With a family or from four passengers, the V-Class (7 passengers, 10 bags), which also carries mountain bikes in summer. For a shared chalet or a group of 8 to 19, the Sprinter is offered on quotation.
The Les Gets road in winter
Between Taninges and the pass the road climbs steadily for 12 km, well cleared but icy in the early morning through the wooded sections. Our Mercedes run on winter tyres with chains on board, as the Mountain Law requires in Haute-Savoie, and our chauffeurs know the chalet accesses in La Turche and Mont Chéry, often on a slope.
A gentle ski area linked to the Portes du Soleil
Les Gets shares an area of about 120 km of pistes with Morzine, itself part of the Portes du Soleil and its roughly 600 km between France and Switzerland. Les Chavannes offers wide, sunny pistes ideal for beginners and children, Mont Chéry steeper and quieter slopes. The resort holds the Famille Plus label. The ski season generally runs from mid-December to mid-April; in summer the Les Gets bike park hosts Mountain Bike World Cup rounds and the lifts are open to bikes.
Child seats, pushchairs and equipment
Enter your children's ages when booking: an infant carrier, child seat or booster is fitted in advance. The V-Class takes a folded pushchair and a sledge alongside the skis; in summer, state the number of bikes. If you are hiring equipment in Les Gets, tell us; a smaller vehicle may be enough.
Your transfer step by step
- Online booking with flight number and chalet name; fixed price shown before payment.
- The day before, you receive the chauffeur's name and phone number.
- On landing the time is adjusted; the chauffeur waits in arrivals.
- Loading, immediate departure on the A40.
- About 1 h 10 later, drop-off at your chalet or hotel in Les Gets.
No change at Cluses
Les Gets has no railway station: from Cluses you need a bus with your skis and a connection that can double the journey time. A private transfer leaves at your flight's actual arrival time, makes no stops and drops you at your door in 1 h 10, for a fixed price known in advance.
Return to Geneva and days around Les Gets
Book the outbound and return together: the return gets 10% off. As a chauffeur at your disposal, your driver takes you to Morzine and Avoriaz, to Samoëns and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval in the Giffre valley, or to Lake Geneva at Évian; Geneva itself is close enough for an evening in town.
Practical tips before you leave
Allow 15 minutes to load skis and keep boots in a separate bag. For an early-morning flight a 4:30 am departure is possible: the road is empty and the journey takes barely more than an hour.
